Born : 1 May 1988, is an Bollywood Indian actress and former model who appears in Hindi films. In 2008, she was signed by Aditya Chopra for a three-film contract with Yash Raj Films and made her screen debut in Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She later received acclaim for her role as Shruti Kakkar in Band Baaja Baaraat (2010). Both films fetched her a Best Actress nomination at the
Filmfare Awards ceremony.
There are many new comers in Bollywood who have good family backgrounds and Anushka Sharma is one of them. She is daughter of Indian Army Colonel and her brother is professional cricketer who plays regularly for his state. Although she made her debut in movie “Rab ne bana di Jori” but became popular because of her role in “Baand Baja Barat”. The role of “Shruti Kakar” in movie “Band Baja Baraat” was liked by everyone and she proved that she had amazing acting talent. When she started modeling she was only interested to become a top model but later one she developed an appetite for films.
Anushka Sharma was born on 1 May 1988 in Bangalore. She completed her school education from reputed Army School. Miss Sharma completed her graduation from Mount Carmel College in Arts.
She is tall, beautiful and smart. Anushka also rocked the industry after her bold photo shoots for Maxim magazine. She is a girl with huge ambitions and enough courage to fulfill her ambitions. In her first three movies for Yash Raj Banner she was nominated for best actress award. Overall many critics believe that she is the future of industry.
